Today was the 3rd annual Baltimore Floatilla. A Floatilla is a gathering of vessels, in this case, kayaks and canoes, to publicly support a cause. In this case, the cause is cleaning up the Harbor. The goal is to come together to support the cleanup of the Harbor and bringing awareness to the environmental restoration of this ecosystem.
It was a sight to see with all of these wonderful people coming out to support such an amazing cause.
The majority of participants had creative and hilarious signs to bring awareness to the Harbor.
Spreading awareness they used the hashtag #harborlove to get things trending on social media.
Needless to say, some of the signs were quite creative. This was one of the favorite signs seen at the rally.
The crowd was a fantastic group to photograph, and the energy was strong yet peaceful. Everyone showed up to show solidarity for the Harbor and brought awareness to the cause.
